We've got a few different ways that we can pull in agents to your broker branded app. 

From A Feed

Many of our customers have an integration with a feed such as Boston Logic, Reliance or others that HomeSpotter uses to automatically add and remove agents from your mobile app.  As an admin, you'll know if we have a feed setup when you tap on "Admin" from your Connect dashboard and don't see an option to "Add Agent" from this page: 

If this is not an option, we have a feed that is automatically pulling in agent information and is updated every day. If you've added an agent to an associated integration (like Boston Logic) and the agent isn't showing up in the mobile app within 24 hours, please email our team at support@homespotter.com and we'll look into this.

Add an Agent From Your Connect Dashboard

If you see "Add Agent" under your admin tab, that means we don't have an automatic feed and your team will need to add new agents and remove them from the dashboard when they leave your brokerage.

You'll want to add new agents information including their picture, name, email address and phone number. These are used in their agent profile and anyone using their branded app will see this information. Agents can manage their profile moving forward by signing into the Connect dashboard as themselves. 

When adding new users, you'll want to give them a "Role". 

  • Agent - Adding someone as an agent will immediately put them in the agent roster in your Connect broker app. As soon as you hit save, users will be able to look for them in the app, and a branded link will be generated for the agent to start using to share their branded app. 
  • Broker Admin - Adding someone as a broker admin will simply allow them to access the Connect dashboard and manage everything as an administrator
  • Boost Admin - this will only be an option if you're also using our Boost ad product. Add someone as a Boost admin to give them purchasing power for Boost ads that are running on your account

Next, make sure you add in the agents MLS ID. This will make sure that whenever they have a listing of their own, that we mark it as a "Featured Listing" in your mobile app and feature the listing agent from your company on the details in the app. 

Once you hit save, the agent will be added to the roster immediately. 

Remove an Agent From Your Connect Dashboard

You'll also want to make sure you remove any agents who leave your brokerage so they are no longer searchable in the agent roster of your app. To do this, tap on "Admin" and then tap on the agents name found in the list. 

Select "Edit Agent" from this page, and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to remove them. 

Once you hit save, the agent will be removed to the roster immediately.
