Listing information in your mobile app is powered by data that is fed directly from your local MLS(s) for the most accurate and up to date information on the go. Our MLS data feeds pull in new and updated data for every public status and type of listings available in your market, every 15 minutes or so.
While home buyers may be familiar with national home search apps such as Zillow or Trulia, many times the data found in those apps come from syndicated data from ListHub partner websites (and not from a direct feed from the MLS), which is restricted by broker and/or corporate preferences.
Using your broker branded app ensures that your contacts can search with confidence knowing that they’re seeing all of the listings available in your market.
When contacts download the app via your personalized share link, not only will they have access to accurate and up to date listing data, but they will see you (and only you) as their agent of choice. This is the other main difference between your app and a national home search app which will show your contacts other agent’s contact information, and may even sell that data when home buyers want to learn more about a listing in their apps.
If you’ve recently listed a property and aren’t seeing it in your mobile app, give it some time to refresh. Our data updates can sometimes take more than 15 minutes depending on the number of updates and new listings that need to be added to the app from the most recent data pull. If you do not see your listing within 24 hours, please contact HomeSpotter at support@homespotter.com.
