HomeSpotter works best when you're either an agent or invited by an agent, then you'll see all the listings in your area. If you were referred to HomeSpotter by your agent but aren't seeing listings in the app, or if your client is reporting that they can't see all of the listings in your area, you or your client may not be branded to an agent.
Here's how to connect in the app.
Home Buyers: Tap on "Message" along the bottom center of the map view to send your agent a message in HomeSpotter.
Agents: Tap on "Message" along the bottom center of the map view to send your client a message in HomeSpotter.
Home Buyers and Agents: From here, you'll want to start a new conversation by tapping on the + sign in the top right corner.
Home Buyers: Enter in your agent's cell phone number and send them a message in the app. HomeSpotter will recognize their number as a verified agent.
Agents: Enter in your client's cell phone number and send them a message in the app.
Home Buyers: You will then be prompted to set them as your preferred agent.
Agents: Your client will receive a message from you in the app and then be prompted to set you as their preferred agent.
Home Buyers: Tap add to connect to your agent.
Agents: Your client will add their agent. Why? Once a consumer connects with a HomeSpotter verified agent, they'll have access to the most up-to-date listings. By working with a verified agent, you can be sure you're viewing the most accurate information in your area.
Home Buyers and Agents: Once branded, you or your client will see their preferred agent in their app menu, and can search for homes and chat about them in the app.
